Overview
The 2025 Ram 1500 lineup undergoes a significant overhaul, introducing new drivetrains and variants to the full-size pickup segment. This latest update brings enhanced luxury and technological advancements to the Ram 1500, reflecting the ongoing evolution in the world of pickups. Among the notable additions are a range of assistance features, including partial self-driving capabilities, signaling Ram’s commitment to innovation and safety. However, as the industry shifts towards greater fuel efficiency, traditional V8 engines are phased out, marking the end of an era for some enthusiasts. Nevertheless, the Ram 1500 retains its core strengths, notably its renowned comfortable ride quality, a characteristic often praised in consumer reviews.
What’s New for 2025?
As the 2019 Ram 1500 reaches its mid-generation mark, a significant refresh is in order. Leading the lineup is the new Tungsten trim, offering luxurious features and amenities. Both interior and exterior receive styling updates, accompanied by enhancements in technology. Under the hood, new engine options are introduced. Additionally, the off-road specialist TRX is succeeded by the Ram 1500 RHO, while a plug-in hybrid variant, the Ramcharger, is slated for release. Notably, the debut of the all-electric Ram 1500 REV truck marks a milestone, covered separately in our review.

Roomy Interior
Choose between the Quad Cab or Crew Cab configurations for the 2025 Ram 1500, each accommodating up to six occupants. Opting for the Crew Cab grants nearly 10 inches more rear legroom, totaling an expansive 45.2 inches, surpassing competitors like the F-150 SuperCrew. Ample in-cabin storage is provided, including a sizable bin in the center console and additional space beneath the folding rear seats.

Across the trim range, from the basic Tradesman to the upscale Limited, Ram offers a spectrum of luxury features. Expect premium touches such as genuine wood and leather in the higher trims, along with new design elements like laser-etched decorations, carbon fiber or metal accents, and updated color schemes.

Enhanced infotainment systems boast user-friendly interfaces and support over-the-air updates. Screen sizes have been upsized this year, with a standard 12-inch touchscreen and an available 14.5-inch unit in higher trims. Additionally, a 10.25-inch screen is offered for the front passenger, and the 2025 Ram 1500 can be equipped with dual wireless phone charging for added convenience.
Extrovert Exterior
In the revamped 2025 Ram 1500 lineup, the unmistakable silhouette of a full-size truck remains intact, albeit with cleaner lines and a more modern front end, featuring distinct grille treatments for each variant.

LED headlights debut at the Limited trim level, while Ram introduces steering-responsive front lighting for enhanced visibility. The taillights now boast a jeweled appearance, adding to the truck’s refined aesthetic.

When it comes to bed options, the Quad Cab is paired exclusively with a spacious 76-inch cargo bed. Meanwhile, the Crew Cab offers a choice between the 76-inch bed or a slightly shorter 67-inch bed, though the longer bed/Crew Cab configuration is unavailable with certain trims like the HFE or Rebel, and likely not with the RHO either.

Both bed configurations come equipped with lockable compartments on either side, and buyers can opt for additional features such as a spray-in bed liner, adjustable tie-down hooks, and a deployable bed step for added versatility and convenience.
